Center for Transitional Neuro-Rehabilitation

About Our Center

The Barrow Center for Transitional Neuro-Rehabilitation (CTN) offers intensive, outpatient, holistic, milieu treatment for adolescents (ages 14 and older) and adults with acquired brain injuries who have been referred to our center by a physiatrist. We emphasize independence in the home and community and productivity when patients return to work or school. For family members, we provide emotional support and education about your loved one’s strengths and limitations and how to assist their return home.

At the Center for Transitional Neuro-Rehabilitation, we offer four core programs oriented toward neuro-rehabilitation:

  • The Home Independence Program
  • The Work Re-entry Program
  • The School Re-entry Program
  • The Transitional Program

We also offer two focus programs:

  • The Refresher Program
  • The Fast-Track Program

I just recently stopped using my wheelchair. My speech and cognition have greatly improved, and most importantly, I’m able to be a hands-on mom and wife. I feel so fortunate and blessed.

What I love is everyone understands that everyone is different. For me, it was hard—I couldn’t tell much to them, but they knew that.
