The Barrow Difference
The Barrow Difference – Neuro-Rehabilitation Center
Neuro-rehabilitation can help you regain function and independence after a neurological injury or illness. At the Barrow Neuro-Rehabilitation Center, we’re committed to helping you reach your individual goals and maximize your quality of life.
Complete Spectrum of Care
Our Neuro-Rehabilitation Center provides a complete spectrum of rehabilitative care, from inpatient and outpatient services to work and school re-entry programs.
We also know your journey doesn’t end when your neuro-rehabilitation is complete. Experiencing a neurological injury often means adapting to a new normal. That’s why we also offer a peer mentorship program, adaptive recreation opportunities, and support groups.
In an average year, our Neuro-Rehabilitation Center admits more than 660 patients—about 38 percent with brain injuries, 36 percent with stroke, and 26 percent with spinal injuries. No matter your neurological diagnosis, you can rest assured that you have the best neuro-rehabilitation team. Our patients agree; about 97 percent of those discharged said they would recommend our Center to others.

Leader in Neuro-Robotics
In addition to a highly experienced, multidisciplinary team, our Neuro-Rehabilitation Center offers advanced rehabilitation technologies. We continuously research and implement the latest devices across the continuum of care.
We are a leader in the use of neuro-robotics, which mimic normal human movements and adapt to support and challenge a patient’s specific abilities. Many of our therapists have undergone special training in these devices. The fusion of neuroscience and robotics is allowing people with neurological injuries to reach greater levels of function and independence.
