    Cynthia Monheim-Janss, PhD, is a clinical psychologist in the Cleft and Craniofacial Center at Barrow Neurological Institute.

    Dr. Monheim-Janss’ expertise includes helping children and their families navigate medical treatments, surgeries, and other challenges associated with complex chronic health conditions, including craniofacial and neurological disorders. She is trained in psychosocial, neuropsychological, and pre-surgical evaluations, as well as medical psychotherapy and medical team consultations. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the International Neuropsychological Society, and the Society of Pediatric Psychology.

    Dr. Monheim-Janss earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from the University of Arizona. She completed an internship in neuropsychology at the University of Arizona and a fellowship in pediatric psychology at Children’s Rehabilitative Services at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.
