Kyle Householder received his BS in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University. While at Case, he worked in Dr. Jeffrey Capadona’s lab, exploring methods to reduce the inflammatory response induced by intracortical microelectrodes. Kyle joined the Sirianni Laboratory in 2013. He is currently a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Arizona State University.
Kyle’s research at Barrow focuses on improving the treatment of glioblastoma through the use of innovative methods for targeting nanoparticles to the brain. Kyle hopes this research will lead to an improved glioblastoma treatment with reduced effects on healthy tissue.
