Barrow to Host Presentation on Cushing’s Disease

Barrow Neurological Institute’s Pituitary Program is hosting a presentation this month on the advances in treatment for Cushing’s disease.

Endocrinologists, surgeons, internists, fellows, residents, and other medical professionals will learn about current perspectives and the recurrence of endogenous Cushing’s disease, as well as review and discuss treatment studies.

The presentation will be led by Dr. Andreas Moraitis, associate medical director at Corcept Therapeutics. Moraitis is double board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology and metabolism. His expertise is in the management of adrenal disorders.

The presentation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in the fourth floor neuroscience conference room at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. A light breakfast will be served.
