TODAY Show Visits Barrow to Highlight Domestic Violence Program

The TODAY Show visited Barrow Neurological Institute to highlight the Domestic Violence Traumatic Brain Injury Program, which is believed to be the first of its kind in the nation.

The Barrow Concussion & Brain Injury Center created the program in 2012 to identify and treat women and men with traumatic brain injuries caused by domestic abuse. More than 300 patients have been seen through the program.

The TODAY Show interviewed neurologist Dr. Glynnis Zieman, social worker Ashley Bridwell, and two patients who credit the program with changing their lives.
