    Charlotte Myers, MS, ANP-C

    Charlotte Myers, MS, ANP-C, is a nurse practitioner in the Neuro-Oncology Program at Barrow Neurological Institute.

    Ms. Myers specializes in the compassionate and supportive care of individuals with brain tumors and their families, which includes conversations, education, and symptom palliation. Her journey began more than 20 years ago when her mother was diagnosed with glioblastoma. Ms. Myers desires to help support others on their journey with brain tumor diagnosis and treatment, by fostering hope and helping them to find meaning in life. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, and the Society for Neuro-Oncology.

    Ms. Myers earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, and her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Health Nurse Practitioner from Arizona State University. She is currently enrolled in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) certificate program at Grand Canyon University.

    Her research interests include health-related quality of life, epilepsy in patients with brain tumors, and patient outcomes and satisfaction.

    Martha Llamas, LMSW

    Martha Llamas is a bilingual licensed master social worker in the Cleft and Craniofacial Center at Barrow Neurological Institute. She is licensed by the State of Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.

    Ms. Llamas’ expertise includes individualized treatment planning and interventions to support patients and families with medical, emotional, and socioeconomic needs.

    Ms. Llamas earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Arizona State University.
