  • Teddy Youn, MD

    Teddy Youn, MD, is a neurologist in the Stroke Program and an assistant professor of neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute. He is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

    Dr. Youn’s expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of stroke and other neurovascular diseases. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Stroke Association, the Neurocritical Care Society, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

    Dr. Youn earned his medical degree from Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He completed his residency in neurology at University of Washington Affiliated Hospitals in Seattle. He also completed fellowships in vascular neurology and neurocritical care at the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.

    Dr. Youn has been involved in research related to neurological prognostication after cardiac arrest, brain death and organ donation, and invasive monitoring in traumatic brain injury. His current research interests include central retinal artery occlusion as a comorbid disease of stroke, advanced imaging biomarkers in intracerebral hemorrhage and traumatic brain injury, and poststroke recovery and rehabilitation.

    Bryan Lee, MD

    Bryan Lee, MD, is a neurosurgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery at Barrow Neurological Institute.

    Dr. Lee specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery and complex spinal deformity correction. He treats spinal deformities, spinal degenerative diseases, cranial and spinal trauma, and spinal tumors. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, AOSpine North America, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the North American Spine Society.

    Dr. Lee earned his medical degree from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California. He completed his residency in neurosurgery and a fellowship in spine surgery at Cleveland Clinic.

    Dr. Lee’s research interests include comparative analyses of clinical outcome data to optimize health-related quality of life in patients and clinical and biomechanical studies of the latest technology to treat complex spinal diseases.

    Jina Youn, MD

    Jina Youn, MD, is a neurologist in the Stroke Program and an assistant professor of neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute. She is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

    Dr. Youn’s expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of stroke and other neurovascular diseases. She is a member of the American Stroke Association and the American Academy of Neurology.

    Dr. Youn received her master’s degree in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed her neurology residency at Barrow Neurological Institute and a fellowship in vascular neurology at Northwestern University in Chicago.

    Dr. Youn’s research interests include stroke in young adults, stroke and pain, stroke and migraine, and dissections.
