2023 Acquired Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury Symposium

Course Description

This interdisciplinary symposium will focus on the current evidenced-based practice and research for the treatment of those with acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury. The symposium will provide an educational opportunity for rehabilitation professionals focusing on the medical management and rehabilitative treatment interventions.

Course Learning Objectives

  1. The participant will be able to describe how medical interventions affect functional recovery.
  2. The participant will describe current research in acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury.
  3. The participant will be able to identify challenges associated with living with a disability.
  4. The participant will be able to list therapeutic interventions utilized post acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury.
