Multi-Modal MRI Study

The purpose of this trial is to develop a new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) method to accurately diagnose, predict, track progression, and monitor the response to treatment in Parkinson’s disease.

Purpose

This study is being done in hopes of developing new MRI methods to accurately diagnose, predict, track progression, and monitor the response to treatment in Parkinson’s disease patients.

Who Can Participate

Patient’s ages 40-90 at Barrow Neurological Institute with Parkinson’s disease (on Carbidopa/Levodopa) & healthy volunteers (do not have a neurological disease).

Visits

1 visit total: 2 MRIs (before & after taking Parkinson’s Disease medication for Parkinson’s disease pts.)
