William White, MD
Dr. William White is an emeritus professor of neurosurgery at Barrow Neurological Institute. His specialty interest is transsphenoidal surgery for pituitary tumors and other skull base lesions.
Dr. White has been practicing neurosurgery at Barrow Neurological Institute at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix since 1976. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Dr. White completed his general surgery residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City and his neurosurgery residency at Barrow Neurological Institute. He holds the academic position of clinical assistant professor of neurosurgery at The University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona.
Joseph Zabramski, MD
Joseph Zabramski, MD, is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University Medical School in Cleveland. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Barrow Neurological Institute at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix along with cerebrovascular and a spine surgery fellowships. He joined Barrow as a faculty neurosurgeon in 1988, and has remained active in clinical research and teaching since that time.
A nationally recognized leader in the field of cerebrovascular surgery, Dr. Zabramski’s areas of expertise include the treatment of stroke, carotid artery disease, intracranial arterial stenosis, aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and cavernous malformations. He has published numerous articles and chapters in the neuroscience literature. Dr. Zabramski is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
