Meghan Smeal, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner in the Epilepsy Program at Barrow Neurological Institute. She is also certified as a neuroscience registered nurse by the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing.
Ms. Smeal is experienced in neurocritical care. Her role in the Epilepsy Program includes patient education and diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy and other seizure disorders. She is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Ms. Smeal earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.
