Stephen received his Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from Graceland University. He has worked as a summer intern at the Mayo Clinic and at the Translational Genomics institute (TGen). Stephen’s thesis project will include studies on the role of ADAR2 and GluA2 editing in C9orf72 ALS.
