Valley Athlete Training for 2016 Olympic Trials After Paralyzing Spinal Injury

Despite a cycling accident that nearly left her paralyzed and three back surgeries in which surgeons at Barrow Neurological Institute inserted nearly 20 screws, rods and plates to hold her spine together, Cristin Van Driel, 33, is training for the 2016 Olympic trials for the marathon.
