Barrow to Host Annual Pituitary Symposium

Barrow Neurological Institute is hosting its annual pituitary symposium next month to provide medical professionals with a better understanding of how to diagnose and treat pituitary disorders resulting from tumors, trauma, and unknown causes.

Physicians, nurses, endocrinologists, and other participants will learn how to better evaluate and select treatment modalities to improve patient outcomes.

“This year’s conference will focus on the management of pituitary tumors,” said Barrow neurosurgeon Dr. Andrew Little. “The multidisciplinary conference features national experts in endocrinology, neurosurgery, and radiation oncology among other specialties.”

The symposium will be held Saturday, Nov. 14 in the Leonard Goldman Auditorium at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.
