Microvascular Bypass Workshop

Course Objectives

Learn and review surgical techniques of extracranial-intracranial and intracranial-intracranial bypass
Review clinical surgical examples of low-flow EC-IC and IC-IC to learn pearls and limitations
Review clinical surgical examples of high-flow EC-IC and IC-IC to learn pearls and limitations
Practice surgical techniques for anastomosis and bypass creation in various surgical models in the laboratory

Familiarization of bypass techniques through teaching and discussion of surgical case examples as mentored and observed by the faculty
Accomplishment and advancement of practical surgical techniques in the laboratory as mentored and observed by the faculty
