Suzanne O’Connor, PsyD, is a rehabilitation neuropsychologist in the Department of Clinical Neuropsychology at Barrow Neurological Institute.

Dr. O’Connor’s expertise includes neuropsychological assessment and cognitive rehabilitation therapy with patients adjusting to acquired brain injuries. She has extensive experience in substance abuse, behavioral addictions, and brain injury and substance abuse. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Arizona Neuropsychological Society, and Division 22: Rehabilitation Psychology.

Dr. O’Connor earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Phoenix. She completed her postdoctoral residency at Rehab Without Walls in Phoenix.

Dr. O’Connor’s research interests include the assessment of behavioral addictions and assessment development. Her latest interests focus on rehabilitation outcome data and the study of grief as an aspect of brain injury recovery.
