Barrow Outpatient Neurology Advanced Practice Boot Camp
At Barrow Neurological Institute, we believe learning is an ongoing process. This month, our advanced practice neurology providers had the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skill set with a two-day, virtual boot camp.
“I was excited to participate in the APP boot camp,” said Erik Ortega, MD, one of several attending neurologists who presented. “At this time, less than 1 percent of APPs go into the field of neurology. I hope that this session helped bolster the overall knowledge of our clinical colleagues, so that they can not only provide even better clinical care but also attract more APPs to the field.”
