Course Goal
The primary objective of this event is to provide participants with a broader understanding and knowledge of current practices and treatments in both radiation oncology and the greater oncology community, and the practical applications for the radiation therapist.

- Modern and current treatment techniques in radiation oncology specifically brachytherapy and stereotactic radiotherapy
- Systemic therapies and drug development and their role in the care of oncology patients today
- Practical application of the principles of a high reliability organization
- Quality standards and implementation as outlined by APEx for radiation therapists
