TBI & Domestic Violence Primary Care Provider Forum
Course Goal
This course provides information about domestic violence, recognizing traumatic brain injuries, and medical, psychiatric, and rehabilitation care needs for patients with a TBI due to domestic violence.
Course Learning Objectives
- Describe ways to identify signs of abuse and demonstrate understanding of traumatic brain injury diagnostic criteria.
- Apply knowledge of traumatic brain injury identification and treatment options to their practice.
- Implement strategies for facilitating resources for patients who are victims of domestic violence and/or traumatic brain injury.
