AbbVie M21-471 Upper Limb Essential Tremor
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of botox for the treatment of upper limb essential tremor.
Who can participate?
Patients with diagnosed essential tremor >3 years
Essential tremor requirements (all in dominant limb):
- TETRAS UL score >2 on at least 1 maneuver (forward vs lateral posture holding vs finger-nose-finger) OR >2 spiral AND
- TETRAS ADL score ≥2 in at least 1 of the unilateral items (feeding, drinking, pouring, keys, writing) AND
- TREDS score ≥3 in at least 1 of the unilateral items (spoon, cup, pouring, telephone, picking up change, inserting plug, key)
