Christina Kwasnica, MD, is the director of the Department of Physical Medicine and Neuro-Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Stroke Rehabilitation at Barrow Neurological Institute. She is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Kwasnica’s expertise is grounded in the physical and neuro-rehabilitation realm. She treats patients with complex brain and spinal cord injuries and is a specialist in spasticity management, participating in national initiatives to improve access to spasticity care. Dr. Kwasnica is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, and serves on the faculty of Creighton University School of Medicine.

Dr. Kwasnica received her medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago. In addition, she completed her physical medicine and rehabilitation internship and residency at the same university.
