Rhodel Dacanay, MD
Rhodel Dacanay, MD, is a neuroanesthesiologist in the Department of Neuroanesthesiology at Barrow Neurological Institute. He is board certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Dacanay specializes in providing anesthesia care for patients undergoing complex neurosurgical procedures. He is a member of the American Medical Society and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
Dr. Dacanay earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. He completed his transitional internship and anesthesiology residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego in California.
Dr. Dacanay’s research interests include investigational studies on patient safety features, new anti-emetic medications, neuromonitoring devices, and airway management devices.
