Namesake of Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center Recognized at Celebrity Fight Night

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali, the namesake of the Parkinson Center at Barrow, was recognized at Celebrity Fight Night for his fighting spirit and his impact in the community and around the world.

Celebrity Fight Night has been held in Phoenix for 23 years and has raised more than $118 million for various charities, including the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center.

“A lot of credit goes to Muhammad Ali because of the respect that people have for him,” said Jimmy Walker, who created Celebrity Fight Night. “It’s a very important center for him, where he gets treatment, too.”
