2025 Barrow Neuroendovascular Intervention Symposium

Course Description

The 2025 Barrow Neuroendovascular Intervention Symposium is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary educational program designed to enhance knowledge and technical proficiency in the rapidly evolving field of endovascular management of cerebrovascular disorders. This symposium brings together leading experts in endovascular neurosurgery, neurointerventional radiology, interventional neurology, and stroke care to discuss state-of-the-art techniques, recent technological advancements, and evidence-based practices in the minimally invasive treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.

Through a combination of keynote lectures, panel discussions, and case-based learning, participants will gain practical insights and strategies for improving patient outcomes in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, subdural hematoma, carotid stenosis, and acute stroke, among other diseases.

Course Learning Objectives

  1. Understand current best practices in the diagnostic and endovascular treatment of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke
  2. Evaluate indications, techniques, and outcomes of aneurysm embolization, flow diversion, and AVM embolization
  3. Discuss the role of new devices and imaging technologies in neurointervention
  4. Improve patient selection criteria for mechanical thrombectomy and other neurovascular procedures
  5. Recognize and manage procedural complications
