  • Timothy Sanford, MD

    Timothy Sanford, MD, is a neurophysiatrist and back pain specialist at Barrow Neurological Institute. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

    Dr. Sanford’s expertise includes the nonsurgical management of spine problems, particularly those associated with arthritis and sports-related injuries. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the North American Spine Society, and the Spine Intervention Society.

    Dr. Sanford earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an interventional spine and sports fellowship at Ahwatukee Sports and Spine.

    Dr. Sanford’s research interests include diagnostic procedures and biomechanics.

    V. Wes Crisp, DO

    Wes Crisp, DO, is a neurophysiatrist and back pain specialist at Barrow Neurological Institute. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as sports medicine, by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

    Dr. Crisp’s expertise includes interventional spine procedures for the management of back pain, particularly after sports-related injuries. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

    Dr. Crisp earned his master’s degree in exercise science from the University of West Florida in Pensacola and his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. He completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He also completed fellowship training in interventional techniques for spine and other musculoskeletal pain at Ahwatukee Sports and Spine and at Georgia Pain Physicians.

    Scott Kreiner, MD

    Scott Kreiner, MD, is a neurophysiatrist and back pain specialist at Barrow Neurological Institute. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as sports medicine, by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

    Dr. Kreiner’s expertise includes interventional spine procedures for the management of back pain, particularly after sports-related injuries. He is the clinical research chair for the North American Spine Society and a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Spine Intervention Society.

    Dr. Kreiner earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

    Dr. Kreiner’s research interests include sports-related injuries, vertebral compression fractures, and interventional spine procedures.

    Raj Singh, MD

    Raj Singh, MD, is a neurophysiatrist at Barrow Neurological Institute at Dignity Health St. Jospeh’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. He is board certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Age Management & Wellness.

    Dr. Singh’s expertise includes diagnosing and treating spinal disorders, thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, piriformis syndrome, and a variety of entrapment neuropathies. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the North American Spine Society, and the American Medical Association.

    Dr. Singh received his medical degree from Amritsar Medical College in Amritsar, India. He completed his internship at St. Francis Hospital Loyola University in Chicago and completed two residencies at Northwestern University School Medical School in Neurology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, also in Chicago.
