Dr. Ortega’s expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), neuropathies, myopathies, and other neuromuscular diseases. Dr. Ortega received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his neurology residency at Barrow Neurological Institute and a neuromuscular fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University.
