Stephanie Chen, MSN, MPH, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner in the Epilepsy Program at Barrow Neurological Institute.
Ms. Chen’s expertise is in the evaluation and treatment of people with epilepsy. This includes follow-up care for patients discharged from the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and assistance with streamlining the epilepsy surgery process. Ms. Chen is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Neuroscience Nurses, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Epilepsy Society.
Ms. Chen earned her Master of Public Health and Master of Science in Nursing–Family Nurse Practitioner degrees from Johns Hopkins University. She also holds bachelor’s degrees in molecular and cell biology and public health from the University of California, Berkeley.
Ms. Chen’s research interests include epilepsy in women and outcomes of epilepsy surgery.
