Danny Lizano, PA-C, MSHS, FCCM, is a physician assistant in the Neurocritical Care Program in the Department of Neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Mr. Lizano specializes in the management of patients with life-threatening neurological conditions. He is a fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Mr. Lizano earned his Master of Science in Health Sciences—Physician Assistant Studies from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Binghamton University in New York. He completed a postgraduate residency for physician assistants in surgery at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College in the Bronx, New York.
Mr. Lizano’s research interests lie in the staffing of intensive care units, including the integration of advanced practice providers in ICUs.
