Diane McLaughlin, DNP, AGACNP-BC, CCRN, FCCM, FNCS, MBA, is an acute care nurse practitioner in the Neurocritical Care Program at Barrow Neurological Institute. She is a certified critical care registered nurse (CCRN) by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and board certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (AGACNP-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Dr. McLaughlin specializes in the management of patients with life-threatening neurological conditions. She is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American Society of Neuroimaging, the Neurocritical Care Society, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. McLaughlin earned both her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She also holds a health care-focused Master of Business Administration from Youngstown State University in Ohio.
Dr. McLaughlin’s research interests primarily lie in advanced practice provider onboarding and integration, neuromonitoring in patients with brain injuries, and point-of-care ultrasound.
