Lindsay Frerichs, MD, is a neurologist in the Lewis Headache Center, director of the Headache Medicine Fellowship, and an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute. She is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and in headache medicine by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties.

Dr. Frerichs’ expertise includes diagnosing and treating migraine, cluster headache, intracranial hypotension, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, trigeminal neuralgia, and occipital neuralgia. In addition to managing headache disorders with medication, she is experienced in nerve block and Botox procedures. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Headache Society, the Headache Cooperative of the Pacific, and the Southern Headache Society.

Dr. Frerichs earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed her neurology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and a fellowship in headache medicine at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas.
