Joseph DiDomenico, MD, is a neurosurgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery at Barrow Neurological Institute.

Dr. DiDomenico specializes in the care of all adult spinal pathologies, including degenerative conditions, adult spinal deformity, and spinal tumors. He applies a patient-specific approach of minimally invasive and open techniques to the surgical treatment of spinal diseases. He is a member the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), the AANS/CNS Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves.

Dr. DiDomenico earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed both his neurosurgery residency and an enfolded complex spine surgery fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. DiDomenico’s research interests include decision-making algorithms in spinal care, sports-related spine injuries, and return-to-play protocols.
