Why choose Barrow for a neurosurgical second opinion?
Barrow Neurological Institute is one of the busiest neurosurgical centers in the world. Because of our high operating room volume, our surgeons are familiar with the most complex, rare, and challenging neurological diseases. In fact, it is not uncommon for our physicians to treat patients from all over the globe.
Barrow Neurosurgeons are more than just doctors–they are teachers at one of the most sought-after neurosurgical residency and fellowship programs in the world. Additionally, neurosurgeons from around the world travel to our hospital to observe our neurosurgeons and learn their advanced techniques, and our doctors regularly publish scholarly articles to share their knowledge with the neuroscientific community.
Barrow neurosurgeons and neurologists don’t just practice medicine, they innovate. Many members of our clinical staff conduct basic neuroscience research. Some hold patents, and some have devices or procedures that they were integral in developing named after them.
In addition, Barrow Neurological Institute participates in a wide range of clinical trials. As our doctors consider your condition, they may point out a trial that they feel could be applicable to you.
